Who we are
Interim Portfolio Management was founded by Ian Brown in 2008. Ian identified a need for specialist expert advice in a complex credit crunched business world and brings 25 year experience in Private Equity and Project Finance.
Ian's impressive CV includes 12 years experience with 3i managing their legacy portfolio as well as revitalising and creating value from many of its older, somewhat forgotten SME investments.
Ian has also worked internationally, being instrumental in setting up the Bahrain Development Bank as Head of Investment- a great example of an economy having to respond to challenging times. With the depletion of Bahrain's oil reserves, local business leaders had to adapt to survive and Ian's involvement over a number of years gave him a unique experience which is now proving invaluable in the UK's changing economic climate.
More recently Ian worked with Endless llp, the Leeds based turnaround fund setting up their portfolio management systems and assisting with their first institutional fund raising.
As well as offering his own experience in in a wide variety of corporate situations,our contacts allow us to draw upon the services of a range of associate organisations to provide bespoke specialist advice on training, recruitment, sales planning, financial control and corporate acquisitions.
