LDV goes in to Administration today amidst much speculation about saving jobs. Let's not forget that this was a business owned by a number of PE houses over the last few years including 3i and Sun Capital. Nobody made a success of this business which was a tertiary brand trying to compete against global giants in a very competitive market. The collapse of LDV ( once again) is not a victim of the credit crunch but a poor business operating in a no profit market with falling demand. It was only a matter of time
